Women on Wings is one of twenty-five nominees in the Dutch NRC Charity Awards. From July 20 to August 23, the twenty-five advertisements will be published in NRC Handelsblad, nrc.next and at nrccharityawards.nl. During this period, the audience can bring out their votes.
Students design advertisements
This year NRC Charity Awards works different from previous years. Students from Willem de Kooning Academy made the advertisements whereas in previous years participating organizations had to send in their own advertisement. Isabelle Griffioen made the Women on Wings advertisement.
Best advertisement
A total of 225 organizations applied for the NRC Charity Awards out of which twenty-five nominees are awarded with an advertisement. This double page publication values 75,000 euro. NRC is one of the best quality newspapers of the Netherlands. This year’s winners, both from the audience and a professional jury, will be announced on August 31, 2016 at a special NCR Charity Awards event at Amsterdam.
