Women on Wings is pleased to welcome Shilpa Mittal Singh as second managing director at Women on Wings India. From July 2015 it has a two headed management: Ronald van het Hof, managing director at Women on Wings India since May 2013, and Shilpa. Each have their specific areas of working, but they are both equal responsible for the Women on Wings organization in India.
Growth requires expansion
The expansion of the management is in line with the growth plans of Women on Wings. In the past fiscal year, Women on Wings expanded its team in India with several new members and as a result of that sees an ongoing increase of new partners with which it works together on creating more jobs for women in rural India.
Head and heart
Ellen Tacoma, managing co-founder Women on Wings: ‘Shilpa has broad professional and entrepreneurial experience, a passion for the social cause and she is complimentary to Ronald. We are really happy to have her in the team.”
