“Originally from India, I moved to the Netherlands three years ago. Growing up in a society that is strongly male dominated, I know how important and critical it is for women to be self-sufficient.
As part of the previous position I held, I was afforded the opportunity to facilitate and experience first hand how with a little support and encouragement, women can transform themselves from insecure housewives to enterprising professionals. I have also witnessed how this transformation can enrich their lives and the lives of their family both in terms of financial security and overall wellbeing.
My association with Women on Wings enables me to continue to be involved in this cause that I strongly advocate and support. I consider it a privilege to be able to help with data collection and research of segments that Women on Wings can enter to help them achieve their mission of creating one million jobs for women in rural India.”
