Project Manager, women entrepreneurship program
Joined the Women on Wings team in March 2022
Driven by an urge to explore the rural development sector and unlock its potential, I have been engaged in various programs led by government institutions, research institutes, and non-governmental organizations through direct collaboration with producers, self-help groups (SHGs), farmer producer companies (FPCs), and other stakeholders in livelihood generation, capacity building, production, processing, and monitoring and improvement initiatives. This has built a deep understanding of the ecosystem and its dynamics.
Women play a critical role as all-rounder contributors to our society. Over the years, I have observed how profoundly having a job impacts them. The zeal they hold, their desire to take a stand, and the independence they experience—mentally, financially, and socially—are truly inspiring. Despite facing numerous obstacles, they manage their responsibilities with remarkable grace and resilience.
It is a great opportunity being a part of WoW, as we work towards the goal of co-creating jobs for rural women. I strive to contribute the insights and experiences I have gained over the years, also learning while in the process, for building tailored plans as per the needs of our partners keeping an eye on the challenges identified to overcome.
With a hope to see these women grow and flourish, working alongside the team, I work towards countless sustainable opportunities to help them discover their self-worth and transform into their dauntless selves.
